I'm glad the Nursing Licensure Examination is pushing thru this December. PRC ought to get a pat on the back for limping on despite the adversity. The leakage was a scandal with profound repercussions on the industry and they must pull out all stops to clear the name of our nursing industry. They as people invested with power should do it for the sakes of the thousands of students who devoted their lives to that profession...
More killings in an hour and minutes from each other... When is this going to stop?
I like the Cebu Chamber's bright idea of instilling the Culture of Tourism but I must say that doing so would put Cebuanos in a servile position to the transient. Why not do this for ourselves? Improve our city because we want a better lifestyle for ourselves and not just for them. It's do-able. What we have now is the bahala na attitude wherein we're complacent and tolerant of mediocre performance. I say Never settle for the average because it's as close to the bottom as it is to the top. When the foreigners go at Summit's end, when the novelty of this project wanes do you think we can keep up this Culture of Tourism? I doubt it. There's an 80% probability that we'll all revert back to our old habits. We've got to be more intrinsically motivated. We can do it. I truly believe we can.
